Who Moved My Cheese
This is a fable about 4 characters – Sniff, Scurry, Hem & Haw.
They live in a very dark, complex maze.
Yes, a maze.
All 4 of them were searching for their own cheese.
The cheese was the only source of nourishment in the maze.
They worked really hard in finding the cheese…
…until 1 day they actually found it in Cheese station C.
This station had their favorite cheese!
It seemed like an unlimited supply of cheese in this station.
They struck gold!
Their eyes lit up – and they gobbled the cheese.
They decided to come to walk to station C every morning and feast on the cheese.
This went on for a really long time.
A routine was established by now.
They were now confident that there will always be some cheese whenever they come to the station.
One morning something strange happened…
Station C ran out of cheese!
They no longer had any supply of it.
Hem & Haw were not able to accept it.
How can somebody move their cheese?
Who took all the cheese away?
They deserve their cheese after all.
Both of them were winning and complaining.
But Sniff & Scurry anticipated this change.
They saw the cheese reserve reducing every day as they feasted…
They moved on and went in search of new cheese.
Shortly after their search, they discovered cheese station N
which had the biggest cheese supply they have ever seen.
They wished Haw & Hem left station C and came here as well…
…but it’s too far now.
In the meantime…
Haw suggested to Hem they go in search of new cheese as well.
Hem disagreed.
They stayed there – hoping that someone will restore justice and give them their cheese back.
After living in denial for a long time, Haw decides to go look for new cheese.
While Hem still stays in Station C.
Over the next several days, Haw finds some cheese here and there but nothing lasts for long.
Hem finds one empty cheese station after another…
Filled with disappointment…
He felt he would never get the same amount of cheese he got in Station C.
Despite the fear Hem kept searching – he had no other option to survive.
Finally one day…
He found the cheese station N.
An abundant amount of cheese was overflowing, a lot more than station C PLUS new varieties as well.
He also met his old friends Sniff & Scurry there.
Hem feasted on the cheese and moved towards the big wall on station N…
And he wrote these on the walls:
- Change Happens. They Keep Moving The Cheese
- Anticipate Change. Get Ready For The Cheese To Move
- Monitor Change. Smell The Cheese Often So You Know When It Is Getting Old.
- Adapt To Change Quickly. The Quicker You Let Go Of Old Cheese, The Sooner You Can Enjoy New Cheese
- Change. Move With The Cheese
- Enjoy Change! Savor The Adventure And Enjoy The Taste Of New Cheese!
- Be Ready To Change Quickly And Enjoy It Again. They Keep Moving The Cheese.
Most people are living in denial of something…
It can be a relationship that changed.
A job that changed.
A market that changed.
Or an Industry that changed.
Stop searching for justice and start looking for new cheese.
The sooner you change, the sooner you get to taste the new cheese…

The Success Principles(TM)
The Silva Mind Control Method
Most of us learn a lot about computers, phones, sports teams & movies.
But what about our very own brain that we will have to live with for the rest of our lives?
One such interesting thing I learned about the brain was: Altered states.
Before we talk about that concept, let me tell you the story behind this book…
It was the year 1944, Texas, and an illiterate electronics repairman Jose Silva was tired of his children flunking the school tests.
He tried hiring the top tutors, checking homework, and making them write notes.
Nothing worked.
Something must be wrong.
Jose Silva was a very spiritual man.
He had the habit of meditating regularly.
He decided to teach his kids some meditation.
Right before their study session, he would guide them into a meditative session.
And then the kids would then start studying with an ocean-like serene, meditative state of mind.
The bright yellow report card for the next tests of his children came in…
This time not only did his kids pass all the tests but they were bringing home straight A’s.
Jose knew it must be the meditation practice.
But what if it was a coincidence?
At that point, Americans saw meditation as some hocus-pocus magical stuff from the East.
He was embarrassed to talk about this outside.
However, looking at the bright A grades on the report card of his kids – other parents wanted Jose to train their kids as well.
He did the same with them – would put them all in a meditative state before studying.
Now even this kids started coming home with improved grades.
Now Jose knew that he has discovered something.
Let me now introduce you to the concept of altered states.
The human brain operates in multiple states of frequency:
Beta – Alert, Busy, Problem Solving & Normal Awake State.
Alpha – Calm, Meditative, Relaxed, Creative.
Theta – Deep Relaxation, Sleep, Dreaming.
Delta – Deep Dreamless Sleep.
He noticed that the human brain is highly receptive in Alpha & Theta states.
Whatever they learn when in these states, ingrains deep into their mind.
That’s why the kids were able to learn much deeper than they did before.
Jose Silva also suggests using affirmations & creative visualizations in the alpha state as your subconscious mind will be highly receptive at this stage.
Jose then later used the same method to heal people’s trauma, make them more confident & live lives with less anxiety & fear.
Jose Silva developed his own methodology for meditating and going into the “alpha” state in just 3 seconds.
It would be a disservice to his method if I try to explain you his method here in this email, it’s best explained by him in his book “The Silva Mind Control Method”.
But be warned, this can be a bit confusing book for those who don’t know much about meditation.

Who is this book for?: People who are suffering from anxiety, fear & trauma.

The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
Mindset
What if I told you an Americal Psychologist named Carol Dweck has boiled down success to a simple 3 letter word formula?
Those who know how to use this simple 3 letter word succeed in everything they touch, while others are still stuck.
Before I share with you what exactly this strange 3 letter word is let me share an interesting story…
Who are the people that come to your mind when I ask you to think of successful & intelligent people?
Thomas Edison? Albert Einstein? Bill Gates? Picasso?
Thomas Edison – was kicked out of school for being “mentally deficient”.
Albert Einstein – He failed polytechnic school in Zurich
Bill Gates – would sleep in class and never graduated college.
Picasso – Struggled and was an “average” painter in his early days.
Ironically most of us had a much better start in our lives yet these men got to outperform us.
The author of this book Carol Dweck says that there are two kinds of people.
One with a growth mindset & the other with a fixed mindset.
The ones with a growth mindset believe that with effort, perseverance & drive you can develop any quality.
Just like those people we saw in the above example.
They also use this magical 3 letter word – YET.
“I’ve not mastered this skill yet”
“I’ve not learned this fully yet”
“I’ve not fully developed my learning abilities yet”
“I’ve not discovered the element that should be in the light bulb yet”
On the contrary, the people with a fixed mindset believe that your skills & abilities are set in stone and fixed.
“Maybe school is not for me”
“I suck at making money”
“I always choose the wrong partner”
“I’m an introvert & bad at talking to people”
Just imagine what would have happened to the world if Thomas Edison actually taught
“Maybe I should stop fooling myself with this science thing and try to play football instead…”
The whole world would be dark and maybe you wouldn’t be reading this email right now.
So take notes from these great people…
As long as you believe that your success depends on your perseverance, drive & effort nothing can stop you no matter how bad you are right now.
You just haven’t gotten there YET…
